Eurogold Trading 15 cc began as a greengrocer in 1996 in Linden, Johannesburg as a family business that has continuously been operated by a husband and wife. As Eurogold grew as a business, so did the introduction of a second greengrocer in Victory Park, Johannesburg. This greengrocer in Victory Park was an upmarket store which created interest for Spar store owners which all began with the former Greenside Spar. Our supreme quality and service sparked out of this particular store which, in a few months, extended to the supply of 6 other Spar stores.  As Eurogold continued to grow and develop, so did our greengrocer in Victory Park which transformed and relocated into a Packhouse in Olivedale with the central objective of supplying supermarket chain stores including Spar and Pick ‘n Pay.

In 2008, Eurogold relocated once again, but this time to the Johannesburg Fresh Produce Market. Since then, Eurogold has established a state of the art agro-processing fresh produce plant of 4000 m2 which is fully compliant with the FSSC22000 food and safety standards with some of the highest scores in the industry. We pride ourselves in this result as safety and hygiene is of paramount importance to us in the production of our products that are retailed in recognised supermarket chain stores.

Eurogold’s logistics department currently ships fresh produce across the whole of South Africa utilising our fleet of refrigerated vehicles.

We pride ourselves in the fact that we employ a staff complement of +/- 50 permanent staff and a further 50 casual workers and thereby doing our bit to grow the economy through job creation. We further believe in not only providing value to customers but also enhancing employee wellbeing through various incentive schemes.

We further believe in the social development of individuals in impoverished areas. As a result, our contribution to the upliftment of individual wellbeing takes place through charitable returns to organisations such a children’s homes and old age homes.
